A self-contained place to retreat, with the freedom to make yourself at home and enjoy the orchard in your own way.

Her story

Before finding her place in the orchard at Hagg Hill Farm, The Static once stood by the seaside on Teesside. She later made the journey here and became home to my auntie, who helped manage and work on the farm’s equestrian facilities.

Those facilities have a history spanning more than 20 years. As the farm moves away from its equestrian chapter and diversifies back towards agriculture, The Static is beginning a new chapter of her own.

She is now being renovated with the intention of welcoming guests in the future. With her own kitchen and bathroom, The Static will offer a little more independence and the comfort of having everything in one place.

The aim is not to create a resort-style unit, but a practical, welcoming and peaceful base that feels at home in the orchard.

Space to choose your own pace

When ready, The Static will offer guests the opportunity to spend quiet time outdoors, prepare their own meals and enjoy the simplicity of an unhurried stay. This is adult-only accommodation, designed around privacy and choice.
