🤝 WE WANT YOU: VOLUNTEERS

At Hagg Hill Weekender, volunteers aren’t background labour — they’re part of the heart of the event.

We’re a small, neurodiverse-led, independent events project, creating calm, community-first gatherings with no sponsors or corporate backing. Volunteers help us keep the atmosphere welcoming, grounded, and human.

This role applies to adult-only Hagg Hill Weekender events, including Wellness in the Wild and Summer Vibes.

🌿 What Volunteers Do

Volunteers may help with things such as:

  • welcoming people as they arrive
  • helping guests find their way around the site
  • light stewarding and general support
  • checking in on quiet / calm spaces
  • helping with small set-up or pack-down tasks
  • being a friendly, reassuring presence on site

You will never be expected to:

  • work constantly without breaks
  • take on responsibility you haven’t agreed to
  • manage difficult situations alone
  • mask who you are

Roles are always discussed in advance, and support is available throughout the event.

🤍 Who This Role Suits

This role may suit you if you:

  • enjoy helping people feel comfortable and welcome
  • like being part of something community-led
  • prefer smaller events over big festivals
  • value calm, kindness, and clear communication
  • are happy to contribute in manageable ways

No previous volunteering experience is required — just a willingness to be present and supportive.

🎪 Events This Role Covers

Volunteers may be involved in adult-only events including:

  • Wellness in the Wild
A slower-paced wellness retreat focused on nervous-system safety, choice, and connection
  • Summer Vibes
A friendly, music-led camping weekender with calm spaces alongside the music

The pace and tasks differ slightly between events, and this is always explained clearly.

🎟️ What Volunteers Receive

Volunteers receive:

  • a free event ticket
  • camping included
  • the chance to take part in activities when not volunteering
  • a supportive, inclusive environment

Volunteers bring their own sleeping accommodation (tent, van, camper, etc.).

⚖️ Important to Know

  • These are adult-only events
  • Anyone staying on site overnight must be 21+
  • Volunteering is optional and consent-led
  • Roles depend on availability, suitability, and event needs

There is no pressure to commit — expressing interest simply starts a conversation.

🌱 A Final Word

Volunteering at Hagg Hill Weekender is about care, presence, and community — not hustle or hierarchy.

If you like the idea of helping create a space where people can relax, connect, and be themselves, we’d love to hear from you.
