🍴 WE WANT YOU: FOOD TRADERS & EATERIES

At Hagg Hill Weekender, food is about comfort, accessibility, and choice — not massive queues or overwhelming options.

We host small, adult-only, inclusive events for neurodiverse and neurotypical adults, with a maximum audience of 100 to 400 people. Food traders are a welcome addition, but not a guarantee — our events are designed so attendees can also be fully self-sufficient.

This role applies to adult-only Hagg Hill Weekender events where food trading fits the scale and tone of the gathering.

🌿 What Food Traders Do

Food traders at Hagg Hill Weekender may:

  • provide simple, good-quality food
  • operate independently and self-sufficiently
  • serve attendees at agreed times
  • work within a small, considered trading setup
  • support a calm, respectful event atmosphere

We’re not aiming for a big street-food lineup.
One or two thoughtful food options often works best for our events.

🤍 Who This Role Suits

This role may suit you if you:

  • are an independent food trader or small eatery
  • are happy with smaller crowds and steady trade
  • value quality over volume
  • are comfortable working in a calm, community-first environment
  • understand that some attendees will bring their own food

We’re particularly interested in:

  • simple comfort food
  • inclusive options where possible
  • clear menus and pricing

🎪 Events This Role Covers

Food traders may be involved in adult-only events including:

  • Summer Vibes
A music-led camping weekender where food traders may be present at key times
  • Wellness in the Wild
A slower-paced retreat where light, nourishing food options can support the overall experience

Availability and demand differ by event and are always discussed clearly.

💸 Payment & Practical Reality

Food traders operate on a trading basis.

There is no guaranteed income, and footfall reflects the small scale of the event (up to around 400 people).

Site fees, if applicable, are kept as low as possible and discussed openly in advance.

⚖️ Important to Know

  • This role applies to adult-only events
  • Anyone staying on site overnight must be 21+
  • Food is not provided as part of our events
  • All traders must hold appropriate insurance, licences, and food hygiene certification
  • Traders must be fully self-contained (power, water, waste, etc.)
  • All traders must align with our inclusive, community-first ethos
  • Participation depends on suitability, availability, and event needs

🌱 A Final Word

Food at Hagg Hill Weekender is there to support the experience, not dominate it.

If you’re a small, thoughtful trader who enjoys community-scale events and realistic expectations, we’d love to hear from you.
